On Thursday, Pakistan PM announced that as a peace gesture, Abhinandan would be released over the Wagah Border and On Friday, in the evening, he was handed over to Indian officials.
It was quite an emotional moment for the country as India’s son was reunited with his family and his homeland.
While the pilot was in captivity, several videos of him were being circulated on social media. In one such video, the Pakistani army officials seem to be asking Abhinandan where he hailed from.
Maintaining his calm demeanour, Abhinandan very politely declined and answered that he was not authorized to reveal such information on camera as he had a family. His dialogue “I am not supposed to tell you that” immediately went viral and Indians have been using it as a sign of bravery.
Abhinandan is being called a true hero, and his dialogue is now being used as a viral meme. Check out some hilarious memes and jokes that netizens have come up with.
